What Families Say About Us

Oviedo flute Lessons For Kids

Lessons In Your Home believes strongly in teaching proper technique while maintaining fun and engaging flute lessons. Our teachers use a wide range of flute method books including: Rubank, Accent on Achievement, and Essential Elements. Before starting the flute, it is important for them to be able to hold the instrument up. An average flute is only about 1.13 lbs, and students must be able to hold the instrument parallel. Because of this, we recommend that your student be at least 7 or 8 years old before beginning the flute.
Lessons In Your Home is a unique school in that we treat every lesson as a personally crafted experience. Our teachers commit themselves to the success of their students, and their lesson plans are delicately created to meet each students’ needs. And you are no exception!
