Morgan has three great loves in her life: music, teaching, and her family. She plays and teaches voice, piano, guitar, bass guitar, and percussion. Morgan studied Music Education and Child Developmental psychology at Blinn College in 2009. She started teaching private lessons as a college student and fell in love with it. Through a private lesson, Morgan has the ability to form strong and lasting relationship with each student and their family to create a lesson structure and musical journey that is unique to each student and their needs.
Morgan tailors her private lesson curriculum to each individual student to ensure that each student has a solid foundation in music theory and technique, as well as the tools they need to build confidence. She enjoys teaching beginners of all ages and is experienced in teaching students with special needs.
Morgan teaches with the philosophy that music is a universal language that can cross any barrier and that music is an artistic form of self expression. She also believes that the purpose of life is to learn and grow, music is one of many paths that a person can take on their journey of growth as an individual in society.
She has three amazing children, whom she homeschools. As a parent and a teacher, she understands the importance of keeping a student engaged in the lesson. Morgan believes that learning should be fun and rewarding.
