About Mincai Hu

Mincai started learning piano at the age of five. She later earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. Throughout her studies, Mincai received scholarships, participated in college-level piano competitions, and held a successful graduation concert. She also completed the Orff certification teacher training program in Hong Kong, and began her career as a private piano instructor in 2015. In 2016, Mincai added guitar playing to her skills and incorporated it into her music therapy practicum.

Mincai's dedication to excellence resulted in her obtaining a Master's degree in Music Therapy from Ohio University, where she honed her piano performance skills under expert mentorship. During her master's practicum, Mincai showcased her versatility by teaching students with diverse abilities, including those with special needs and hearing impairments. Her strength lies in identifying each student's strengths and seamlessly integrating her extensive expertise into piano instruction.

With ample teaching experience, patience, and a steadfast commitment to building strong foundations, Mincai customizes learning plans for each student in her piano lessons.
