About Dona Solis

Dona M. Solis is currently a freelance voice and flute teacher in the greater Houston area. Dona has been passionate about music since the sixth grade, entering the music scene as a flutist. Dona’s love of music is limitless and eclectic, having performed classical, pop, jazz, and even mariachi. Dona also knows the level of dedication it takes to be successful in the competitive side of music performance. That passion and dedication resulted in her earning spots in several all-state groups from TMEA and TTCCDA. Dona is currently working towards a degree in music and is studying voice under the direction of professor Frances Fenton-Lytton at Houston Community College.
