What Families Say About Us

Renton brass Lessons For Kids

Our music teachers are always thrilled to see young kids get involved in music. As brass instruments encompass a wide range of instruments, students could be ready to start learning as young as 7 years old. For some this would work just fine, but for others, they may wish to wait until they are 10 years old. We recommend considering the size of your student’s instrument of choice, their physical abilities – as some brass instruments require more air than others, and their interest in music when deciding when to start brass lessons.
At Lessons In Your Home, our educators use a wide variety of brass method books to achieve this including, but not limited to: Rubank, Accent on Achievement, and Essential Elements. These fantastic method books guide your student in learning proper brass technique while maintaining fun and exciting brass lessons!
No matter what age or skill level your student is, we are confident you will have a wonderful time learning from our awesome teachers. Lessons In Your Home is a special school in that our teachers care and they treat every lesson as a personally crafted experience. Our educators’ lesson plans are delicately crafted to meet each students’ unique needs and desires, and you are no exception!
