Kayla Espinoza is a coloratura soprano who has been singing for her whole life. She has been a soprano staff singer at St. Thomas Episcopal Church since 2021 and has sung in many churches all over South Texas. She studied Music Education and English Literature at The University of Houston - Main Campus, where she enjoyed 2 incredible years singing with Dr. Betsy Weber in Concert Chorale, one of the most prestigious choirs in the world. While she was a member of Concert Chorale, the group participated in and won 1st place at the Marktoberdorf competition in Germany. Kayla looks forward to returning to Europe to perform in England in 2025, where she will have the opportunity to sing at some of the oldest churches in the world.
Kayla teaches voice, French horn, trumpet, and piano, and has been teaching students since 2009. Her passion is passing on the knowledge she has gained to others who appreciate what music truly is, and what it can do for the world.
