Jessie Page is a dedicated voice and piano teacher whose love for music began long before she ever stepped into a classroom. Growing up in Loveland, Colorado, she was always singing and naturally drawn to musical theatre, discovering early on how powerful music can be as a way to tell stories and connect with others. In 2013, Jessie moved to Houston, Texas, where she continued to grow both as a performer and educator.
Jessie earned her degree in Vocal Performance from Sam Houston State University, where she built a strong technical foundation and developed a deep appreciation for opera. She expanded her musicianship through piano studies and refined her vocal technique under the mentorship of Deborah Popham, whose guidance left a lasting impact on Jessie’s artistry and teaching. Today, Jessie continues to perform and brings the joy, discipline, and real-world insight of performing directly into her lessons.
An experienced performer, Jessie has appeared in numerous musical theatre and opera productions, with a particular strength in character-driven roles. Favorite performances include Rosa Bud / Dierdre Peregrine in The Mystery of Edwin Drood (StageWorks Theatre), Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde, Portia in Something Rotten!, and Giannina in the world premiere of the opera 24: or The Cure for Love. She also has significant experience with audition preparation and enjoys helping students approach auditions with confidence, calm, and readiness.
As a teacher, Jessie has worked with private voice and piano students of all ages and levels. She loves guiding beginners at the start of their musical journey as well as helping more advanced students continue to grow. Her lessons emphasize healthy technique, musical understanding, and self-confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment. Jessie’s teaching philosophy centers on meeting each student exactly where they are. She is known for her upbeat, positive energy and her ability to tailor lessons to each student’s personality, learning style, and goals.
Outside of teaching, Jessie enjoys performing, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
At the heart of Jessie’s work is a genuine love for helping students grow, both musically and personally. Whether a student is stepping into lessons for the first time or preparing for the stage, Jessie strives to create a welcoming space where curiosity, confidence, and creativity can flourish. Her goal is not only to teach music, but to help students build skills and self-assurance that last far beyond the lesson room.
