Music is power, and your voice is, too. Jeremy found his voice at the age of 4 while singing at church in his hometown, Columbus, GA. He began his vocal journey singing with the Columbus Boy Choir at the age of 7, under the leadership of Sue Smith. Jeremy eventually started producing music, making music independently by age 12. Jeremy studied piano with Dr. Cheryl Palmour and trumpet under the tutelage of Dr. Lyn Pharris. He graduated from Shaw High School at the top of his class with an additional certification in Audio and Video Broadcast and Productions.

From ages 12 to 18, he participated in many events and organizations such as: Page One Nominee, Governors Honors in Music, Literary Meets Finalist, honors choirs, church choirs, and other music ensembles. In 2011, he attended Morehouse College where sang in the school's ensemble, as well as performed as a soloist under the directorship of Dr. David Morrow. He studied voice with Dr. Timothy Miller and Dr. Melvin Foster. While in the glee club Jeremy sang with and for many prominent musicians such as Cicely Tyson, Dr. Bernice King, Stevie Wonder, Spike Lee, Al Sharpton, President Barack Obama, Yo Yo Ma, Joseph E. Lowry, Senator John Lewis, Dr. Roland Carter, Dr. Uzee Brown, Dr. Carlo Simon, and many others. He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance. He also became a proud member Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America Inc. during his time at Morehouse.

After his time at Morehouse, Jeremy continued his musical endeavors, releasing several projects and singing in various ensembles like the Friendship Baptist Church Choir, Radcliffe Presbyterian Church Choir, and the Himsingers under the leadership of Jackie Hollis.

Jeremy officially began his teaching journey in 2016 at Leadership Preparatory Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2019, he moved to Houston and started teaching choir, piano, and music production at Lewis Middle School in Aldine ISD in 2019. Jeremy currently serves as Head Director of Choir and Piano at Killough Middle School in Alief ISD. Alongside teaching, he is a proud member of several ensembles such as the Houston Ebony Opera Guild Chorus, Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church Choir, and Voices of Houston. Music is a constant stay in Jeremy’s life and he feels it is a charge to keep to pass on the knowledge and power that has been given to him.
