David Mascari is a dedicated musician recognized for his proficiency in piano performance, conducting, and composition. His musical trajectory has been influenced by growing up between the dynamic arts scenes of New York City and Philadelphia, guided by esteemed mentors including Maria Asteriadou, Kurt Nikkanen, Peter Isaacson, and James Bagwell.
David began his studies of the piano at age 6 and conducting at age 19. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where he established a solid foundation for his musical career. He subsequently advanced his expertise by acquiring a Master of Music in Conducting from Bard College Conservatory of Music. His commitment to excellence has resulted in notable achievements, including performances with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland at Carnegie Hall and at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece.
At present, David is engaged in pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory, where he continues to refine his skills and expand his artistic perspectives.
