Bradley Fryou holds a Bachelor of Arts in Saxophone Performance from Sam Houston State University. Bradley's musical journey started in 6th grade band, when he followed in his father and cousin's footsteps, choosing to learn to play the saxophone. Throughout the many years of music education that followed, he also learned to play the guitar, bass guitar, piano and ukulele, and gained foundational experience playing violin, flute, oboe and clarinet.
With a wide variety of performance experience, Bradley has played in college bands, including marching bands that played for 80,000+ audience members, jazz bands, concert bands, saxophone quartets, and solo saxophone concerts. More recently, he has performed solo, singer-songwriter sets of original music and covers, and written/performed original music for multiple local rock bands. These bands have performed at venues such as Discovery Green, White Oak Music Hall, the House of Blues, and Town Green Park. Currently, he is involved in two different Houston-based cover bands, while simultaneously writing and recording more original music.
Bradley has always been a teacher at heart. In fact, he was hired by his high school band director immediately after graduation to teach summer marching band and masterclasses. In college, he began teaching private lessons and teaching master classes, and he has never looked back!
Bradley believes that each student has an individual way of thinking, learning and expressing themselves. Therefore, he aspires to master the art of communication in order to better assist each of his students on their journeys of learning, self-improvement, and musical expression.
