    About Anthony Bautista

Anthony is a multi-instrumentalist who was introduced to music by his father at a very early age. He began his musical journey as a trumpet player while attending Shotwell Middle School. Although he was a talented trumpet player, he fell in love with playing the bass guitar when he was 10, and by the age of 14, he began to play music professionally in a Grupo Norteño (Mexican folk ensemble). This is were he developed the skills and knowledge that eventually lead him to understand harmony, theory, and performance. Anthony has been an active working musician since 2006, in which time he has toured nationally and internationally with various musical acts as well as a highlight performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk!

Anthony currently works as a music producer for the record labels Atlantic Records and Equal Vision Records. His primary roles are composing, writing and producing original pieces that are on their way to being performed world wide. Anthony has gained a lot of musical knowledge throughout the years of pursuing his passion and continues to find ways to deepen that purpose that music brings in his life. He believes that sharing the gift of music is a wonderful thing as well as a blessing, and learning an instrument can bring happiness to so many peoples' lives.
