    About Adam Pingleton

Adam Pingleton began his musical journey at age nine and has been deeply connected to music ever since. He started on piano, added cello in sixth-grade orchestra, and later explored upright bass and guitar—discovering early on a lifelong passion for music as both an art form and a means of expression.

Adam’s curiosity and love for learning across genres led him to study music theory at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he earned an associate degree. He spent the next 15 years in Los Angeles performing, collaborating, and touring with bands while continuing to grow as a well-rounded musician. Along the way, he embraced an important lesson from one of his mentors: great musicians learn from many genres and collaborate across musical styles.

During his college years, Adam experienced a significant tendon injury in both hands that temporarily changed how he could play. After years of physical therapy, he returned to music with a renewed perspective—placing greater emphasis on musicianship, composition, and collaboration. This challenge ultimately shaped him into a more thoughtful and versatile musician.

Adam is also a composer and producer who has built his own personal recording studio and enjoys working with both acoustic instruments and music technology. He creates music across a wide range of genres and believes modern tools offer endless possibilities for creativity.

Today, Adam teaches piano, cello, guitar, and music fundamentals, and finds great fulfillment in guiding students through their own musical journeys. He believes it’s never too late to start learning an instrument and that with consistency, encouragement, and a supportive teacher, students of all ages can achieve meaningful progress.

Adam is passionate about helping students build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music—just as music has done for him.
