How do you choose your music teachers?

Every teacher passes a background check through Accurate Background and meets our professional standards. Most have a bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent experience, complete orientation, and receive ongoing training with support from a local Director of Operations.

What age can my child start music lessons?

Many children are ready between the ages of 5 and 7, but some show interest earlier. We look at attention span, motor skills, and enthusiasm to help you decide the right time to begin.

Can I switch teachers if my child needs a different fit?

Yes. If your child is not connecting with their teacher, we will arrange for another instructor from our staff.

How do in-home music lessons work?

Your teacher arrives at your home on a set schedule, brings any necessary materials, and customizes lessons to your child’s level and goals.

My child is shy. Can you help them feel comfortable?

Yes. Our teachers know how to build trust and make lessons enjoyable so students can feel confident from the start.

What do I need for the first lesson?

A quiet space for learning, the instrument your child will use, and a music stand if available. Your teacher will bring lesson materials and guide you through setup.
