About Xavier Davis

Xavier Davis is a music educator specializing in piano and brass instruments. Having grown up with multiple musicians in his family, he eats, sleeps, and breathes music. Xavier began his classical piano training with his father and grandfather at the age of 7, and soon after began playing trumpet and french horn in his school’s band program. His professional experience began in high school when he joined an instrumental jazz fusion band called Anonymous Da Band and proceeded to play as an opener for the likes of Chrisette Michele and Pieces of a Dream, as well as perform at the Atlanta Jazz Festival. While studying at Hampton University on a marching band scholarship and later at Georgia State University, he traveled and performed across the country for such events as the Paisely Park Battle of the Bands in Minnesota, The Jacksonville Jazz Festival in Florida, and the Honda Battle of the Bands in Georgia. Xavier utilizes his wealth of performance experience to teach students how to not only be well-rounded musicians, but to also embrace the star power of a great entertainer.
