Trevor David Rött is a musician with a mind towards musical structure and affection. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Composition at Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music and is currently working towards a graduate degree in Recording Arts at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. Rött began his music career from exposure to video game soundtracks. The power of world-building exerted by such music lead him to explore the capability of music to enchant the listener. From there he developed a knowledge of numerous Western music idioms - from classical education, to 70s rock, and more. He also has a working understanding of Byzantine chant and Arabic maqām.
