About Thirtsa Desravin

Thirtsa Desravin is an undergraduate Music Education major at Florida Atlantic University who dedicates her time to inspiring students through engaging and personalized lessons. Encouraged by her own private teacher to pursue music, Thirtsa believes that music is for everyone—regardless of background or socioeconomic status. As a result, she strives to make learning approachable and accessible for students of all ages and experience levels.

Her musical journey began later than most, starting as a freshman in high school when she began taking classical violin lessons. Since then, she has performed with ensembles beyond the classroom, including the South Florida Youth Symphony and various chamber groups, and has participated in local church events and community programs. At FAU, she continues to grow as a performer through the FAU Symphony Orchestra and smaller university chamber ensembles. She plans to expand her performance experience by participating in community orchestras and chamber groups.

Thirtsa combines her academic training with her performance background to create lessons that are both skill-focused and tailored to each student’s individual needs. She continues to build her teaching experience through private lessons and group instruction, with the ultimate goal of helping students of all ages discover the joy and self-expression that music can bring.
