About Taniece Presbury

Taniece Presbury is a Washington, DC based multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, and producer who started learning music at the tender age of six. She is an active Drum / Percussion, Piano, and Voice teacher. She attended Full Sail University, and shortly after graduating she moved in to performing actively with various Artists -- both locally and internationally.

At the age of twelve Taniece started honing her skills on Drum Kit and began performing with multiple church choirs playing gospel. Her musical journey has since expanded to performing various genres on the kit such as rock, reggae, r&b, blues, jazz, funk, hip-hop, indie, country and pop. Learning Percussion and seriously pursuing a career performing led her to other instrumental study and experience as well. Taniece took up Piano in music school and added this instrument to her repertoire as part of her degree program. Being a life-long musician, Taniece is a natural singer, and her voice was her first musical outlet as she started her journey. In her own song-writing, she utilizes all her multi-instrumental talents to bring her ideas to life.

As a teacher, Taniece wants nothing but the best for her students, and her goal is to make a lasting connection with music for those who study with her. She enjoys exploring the fun elements of music and creativity while teaching, and she believes in tailoring every lesson to her students' needs. She understands the importance of self discipline and creating a balance between "work and play" to make her lessons engaging, but also inspire practice. Taniece's

passion for music is her biggest motivator in working with students and she hopes to pass on her joy to others through the lessons she teaches.
