Seni Garcia, music teacher, composer, arranger and sound engineer:
Started her musical journey at the age of 9 taking musical lessons to learn how to play Cuatro Puertorriqueno. At the age of 13, she began to study classical guitar and by the age of 15 was part of Paquito Lopez Cruz Orchestra.
Ms. Garcia studied Music Education at the University of Puerto Rico and was a member of their musical group called “Tuna”. Here she had the opportunity not only of presenting her 1st musical composition “El negrito”, but the chance to travel to different countries to compete and have a cultural exchange.
Seni Garcia studied sound engineering at CCAT of Puerto Rico (Cinematography, Arts and Television College), one she completed with honors. She worked on several live productions such as “Iron Maiden”, “Journey” and “Placido Domingo” aside from other local productions.
For the past 5 years Ms. Garcia enjoyed teaching guitar, piano and working with bands in Miami. While in Miami, she has created 3 rock combos,(all kids) which perform on different non-profit benefits, school recitals and concerts.
With over 20 years in experience teaching kids and as a musician she has accomplished her true dream and aspiration, “GIVE BACK THE GIFT OF MUSIC”.
