About Scott Wilson

Scotty Wilson is a Denver based artist and musician. Starting at a young age, he was heavily inspired by the sounds of the beating drums and blaring guitars in the eclectic classic rock genre. Scotty has been playing music since 1999 and spent most of his formative years in school band eventually becoming a state championship winner with his high school drum line.

Throughout college, Scotty studied music theory and appreciation while playing in two touring bands, "Me Against Sunrise" and "True the Gray". Scotty learned a lot about music, both in an educational setting, as well as being on the road and playing with many artists over the years.

Currently, Scotty enjoys painting as well as playing music and going out to concerts. He has accumulated a mass of great techniques and genres in drums, guitar and piano and is looking forward to spreading his knowledge and his passion for music with anyone ready and willing to learn the beautiful art of music. He has great admiration for and stays in contact with his old teachers and aspires to connect with his students in the same way to build long lasting musical relationships.
