About Rafael Moreno

Rafael Moreno is a highly skilled piano teacher and the school director of Lessons In Your Home in Miami/South Florida. With a teaching experience dating back to 2015, Rafael has been dedicated to sharing his passion for piano and music with students of all ages.

At the tender age of eight, Rafael embarked on a personal journey of piano exploration. Through self-instruction and unwavering determination, he honed his skills until he encountered his first and most influential mentor, Hamilton Gutierrez. Under Gutierrez's guidance, Rafael not only learned to read and study music but also developed his proficiency in piano accompaniment.

Rafael's educational journey led him to the Miami Arts Charter School, where he earned his high school diploma. During this time, he began performing professionally as an accompanist, and was often found performing at wedding ceremonies and church events.

Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Rafael enrolled at the prestigious New World School of the Arts/University of Florida. Under the tutelage of Ciro Foderé, he immersed himself in piano performance and successfully earned his Bachelor of Music degree.

Rafael's true fulfillment lies in teaching students of all levels and ages, witnessing their growth and nurturing their musical interests and passions. Outside of his teaching endeavors, he cherishes spending quality time with loved ones and enjoying the company of friends. With his rich background and genuine love for teaching, he inspires aspiring pianists to unlock their musical potential while cherishing life's simple joys.
