    About Mike Kislack

Mike Kislack is an accomplished professional guitarist and experienced teacher who has dedicated his life to music. His career has seen him perform on both acoustic and electric guitar for countless events, including weddings, clubs, and corporate events. Mike's love for the guitar was evident from a young age, where he would make guitar-like instruments from tinker toys and rubber bands. His parents nurtured this passion and hired a private teacher when he was just 12 years old, who came to his house to give him lessons. This teacher inspired Mike's creativity and confidence to try all kinds of music, setting him on the path to becoming the musician he is today.

In high school, Mike found his groove and was inspired by influential guitarists such as Terry Kath, James Taylor, Jimmy Page, and Lindsey Buckingham. Their techniques and styles had a profound impact on his playing and inspired him to explore new musical avenues.

While playing the guitar is Mike's first love, he has found great fulfillment in teaching others how to play. He firmly believes that anyone can learn to play the guitar and experience the joy that comes with it, regardless of their level of proficiency. Mike's students have not only developed a deep love for the guitar but have also gone on to create their own bands.

Mike's teaching style is both patient and encouraging. He tailors his lessons to the unique needs and goals of each student, providing a supportive learning environment where students can feel comfortable and confident. Mike's passion for music is infectious, and he is committed to helping his students discover the same joy and fulfillment that he has found through playing the guitar.
