Teacher Profile: Lily Duane

About Lily Duane

Lily was raised in central New Jersey and began playing piano at the age of 5. She grew up playing classical pieces in private lessons. She later went on to learn guitar at age 10, violin, viola, and cello at age 12, and drums at age 15.

During high school, Lily won several awards for her musical abilities and performed in a state arts show. Lily believes that a musical foundation is key as well as having fun along the way. She has been teaching musical instruments since 2017 and enjoys what she does.

Lily has experience with all ages and experience levels from beginner students to advanced students. Her goal as an educator is to make learning music a fun and exciting journey. She is well equipped in teaching classical and pop music and everything in between as well as preparing students for musical assessments/exams.
