Ku Song began studying music at the age of ten when she joined band in grade school. She went on to enter music competitions, winning first chair oboe player in the state of Illinois. Her band also won Superstate Championship at the Krannert Center at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana led by Mr. Terry Milligan.
Ku studied privately with Amy Barwin at DePaul University's Music Department where she mastered Mozart and Vivaldi concertos. She was also a part of the Glenview Korean-American orchestra. She later moved to New York City and performed at several music venues on piano, guitar and ukulele.
Ms. Song is creative and loves sharing her passion for music with children of all ages.
