About KeJuan Thompson

Ke'Juan Thompson is a devoted violist, violinist, and teacher. Currently studying at the University of North Texas, his growth and knowledge in music expands by the day. He's very eager to share it with his students.

Ke'Juan has studied the viola since for several years with Dr. Yuri Noh and currently studying with Dr. Daphne Gerling. He is an accomplished violinist and violin teacher. He has won many awards such as a four-year streak of 1s (best score) for Texas UIL Solo and Ensemble, two of which he won "best solo in the room" and once earned "best chamber ensemble in the room". He has competed in UIL with his school orchestras and has gotten a total of 7 superior ratings. He has placed in TMEA All Region Symphony for three years in a row, achieving second chair in 2021. He also earned a spot in the TMEA All State Orchestra, as one of the best players in the state of Texas.

He hopes that not only will his students' skills improve, but that they can fall in love with music and really have fun with it. He believes that everyone deserves to enjoy playing music.

Besides music, Ke'Juan enjoys being active in many different ways, cleaning, and spending time with friends and family.

Ke'Juan is very excited to work with his students and grow as musicians together!
