With enthusiasm for inspiring young musicians, learning new musical styles, live performance, and traveling, Karli Rhind is an established violist and Suzuki Certified Instructor with 18 years of experience as a classical musician. She holds a Master of Music in String Pedagogy from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts in Viola Performance from Northern Arizona University. She has taken her passion for music teaching and entertainment with her from the Southwest, to Central America, the Hawaiian Islands, and the Pacific Northwest.
Karli has performance experience with ensembles in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, as well as Kaua’i. She’s performed with ensembles such as Palladio String Quartet, Vivace String Quartet, the Kaua’i Concert Association and the all-female electric string quartet Spinphony, taking on various gig opportunities from Concert halls and Wedding venues to Farm Festivals, working with modern musicians as well as Classical.
Karli Rhind is a certified Suzuki teacher through Book 10; the devotion that she brings to the learning environment is unique to the individual student and teaches technique, patience, self expression, as well as musical maturity. Karli wrote the String Curriculum for Forté Academy of Music in Colorado and has assisted in Summer Music Camps and workshops such as Rosie's House Summer Festival in Arizona and the UNM Summer String Camp for Suzuki students in New Mexico. She carries her dedication for the arts, commitment to teaching, and a positive outlook with her to inspire others along the way.
