    About Juan Angulo

Juan Angulo is a violinist whose connection with the instrument is evident through his passionate playing.

He participated in multiple chamber, solo, and orchestral performances at the Eastern Music Festival in North Carolina where he studied with Jeff Multer. He has performed in masterclasses for Dr. Ambroise Auburn, Renne Jolles, and Gil Shaham at the American String Teachers Association, the Steinmetz Hall, and in Juan's current violin studio. Juan played with the first violin section at the Winter Park Music Academy with maestro Alvaro Gomez. In 2020 he played for the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra in the first violin section under conductor Hanrich Classen and was a concerto competition finalist. Juan is part of the UCF string quartet and gets coached by Dr. Chung Park. He plays in the first violin section of the UCF Orchestra and the UCF string chamber orchestra.

Juan teaches private students throughout Central Florida. He structures his lessons based on the student's needs and what they like. He likes to focus on technique, and the student's set up with their instrument to make them feel comfortable. Juan currently studies under Dr. Ross Monroe Winter at the University of Central Florida. He finds other interests in playing tennis, and volleyball, and reading science fiction, mystery, and romance novels when not playing the violin.
