    About Josh Partridge

Josh Partridge is a violin and guitar teacher based in the Atlanta, Georgia Metro area. Originally from Rigby, Idaho, Josh has had a passion for music since he started playing the fiddle at age 9. Josh took lessons from multiple-time National Champion fiddlers Joe and Jacie Sites, and after placing 5th in his first ever fiddle contest at age 10, he went on to win several state, regional, and national titles of his own. A few of these include Idaho Open Jr. Champion, Idaho State Champion, Northwest Regionals Top 3, and several National Top 5 and Fanciest Fiddler awards. Josh has since gone on to perform alongside award-winning country artists Nate Burnham, Chad Wilson, and others.

Josh's love for the violin led him to pick up the guitar at the age of 13. Starting as a rhythm guitarist for other Texas style old-time fiddlers, he eventually discovered a love for the electric guitar and all things rock. Drawing from the styles of Matt Bellamy, Johnny Buckland, David Gilmour, and Robert Smith, Josh continued studying the guitar and music theory at Brigham Young University - Idaho, where he earned his Associate degree in General Studies. After playing as lead guitarist in his band Kelsi Avenue, Josh continues to work as a composer and audio engineer, while releasing his own instrumental works.

Josh is currently an Audio Production major at Full Sail University, where he continues his exploration of music creation. On top of his violin and guitar students, Josh also teaches elementary music production classes in the Atlanta area. When Josh isn't coming up with his next musical riff, he's playing board games with his family or spending time with his two dogs, Charlie and Sidney.
