About Jeff Payne

Jeff Is a guitarist, singer, and pianist, who also plays bass guitar, ukulele, and drums and is always ready to share his passion with fun and easy-to-understand exercises and tips to elevate a student's musical journey.

Jeff was a musician in Austin for 8 years then went to learn music formally at Weatherford College studying jazz piano, guitar, voice, composition, and music theory. He was the pianist and the organist for the Jazz band under Cal Lewiston as well as small ensembles and choir. After graduation he moved to Deep Ellum in Dallas Texas where he taught music and performed in churches and clubs in Dallas/Fort Worth area.

He also worked in a recording studio and has an associates in recording engineering working with Godsmack, Everclear, Neave and Oleander in love and recording sessions.

Jeff specializes in songwriting and performance techniques for professional musicians and worship teams. He also works great with kids and beginning students, making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Jeff has experience in blues, rock, folk, country, jazz, and worship music. He can teach anyone guitar, piano, bass guitar, ukulele or singing.
