About Jake Mongin

Jake Mongin is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Winter Park High School and Valencia College. Having played guitar since he was only 5 years old, he understands the intricacies of teaching beginners and seasoned musicians alike and has taught privately since high school. He has studied with some of the top guitarists in Central Florida like Larue Nicholson and Joseph Sandusky, who he was a teacher's assistant for his last two years of high school. He is a Berklee College of Music admittee and Florida Atlantic University student where he continues to study music. Upright bass and bass guitar are also instruments he enjoys playing and teaching. In addition to music, he also enjoys bike riding and going to concerts.
