Harry enjoys seeing his students grow and fall more in love with making music. He believes that teaching music is more than developing the necessary skills, it is about growing the “whole” person, and enjoying the musical journey. Harry’s teaching philosophy is allowing the student to take the unknown, and bring it to the “known,” by guiding the student into self-discovery. Harry has experience in training both young and older students. When it comes to teaching the vocal instrument, Harry utilizes Bel Canto techniques to sing varying genres: classical, opera, broadway, contemporary, jazz, and pop. Harry’s piano training is grounded in the Germanic and Russian school of playing. However, all lessons are specifically designed for the individual student and their needs. Harry loves meeting new people, fostering relationships, and spreading love and enjoyment of music when teaching or performing.
