About DJ Havens

DJ Havens, singer, song writer and jazz guitar enthusiast has been playing guitar for 16 year and dedicated his education towards symphonic composition and orchestration. Acquiring his bachelors of music and sound design from the prestigious DigiPen Institute of Technology and studying under a master of composing Bruce Stark, DJ has shown time and time again his devotion towards music by getting on the deans list.

DJ loves to work with others and create musical media of all forms. Having excellent knowledge of music technology, mixing, mastering, and even modular synthesis, DJ could help anyone pinpoint their symphonic nature and enhance that medium. Having years of guitar experience from performing, content creation and technical knowledge, DJ channels his passion through music and people.

Teaching Guitar is one DJ's passions, to share the his knowledge with the world and help others express them selves through something intelligent and creative. Having years of composition experience, DJ has found that teaching guitar technique and music theory is a strong passion.

DJ actively works across multiple platforms of media from video editing, music editing, sound design, and Video Game audio. Being creative and striving to create awesome interactive media is a constant learning experience that DJ find extremely fulfilling, and something that he wants to share with the world.
