About Davis Covington

Residing in Denver, CO, Davis Covington is a long time guitarist and music producer from Charlotte, NC. Davis has been swinging the axe since he was 12 years old rocking out to AC/DC with his dad and brother. He trained at School of Rock Charlotte for 5 years and even moved into their advanced Show-Team playing rock/pop shows all over the Carolinas. Having been a guitarist for two local bands (Turnpike Sailors, The Tribe) in High School, he also recorded two studio EP’s and played many live shows with each group.

Following his passion for guitar, Davis attended Belmont University to study Commercial Guitar and Music Business. After his guitar studies, Davis went on to complete higher education at Appalachian State University. Since, Davis has spent much of his post collegiate life studying modern music production including but not limited to, songwriting, composition, arrangement, sound design, DJ-ing, mixing, and mastering. Currently, Davis professionally mixes and masters music for clients across the globe.

In 2017 Davis launched SWAAMP, his personal electronic artist brand, which has led to 2 Official remixes, 11 singles, and an EP, all of which he recorded, created, and produced himself. His music can be found on all streaming services, including Spotify and Apple Music.

His taste for music goes beyond genre and hopes to expand his love and passion for music to those around him.
