About Corey Sokolow
Born and raised in Miami, Corey grew up surrounded by a wide range of musical influences. His passion for performing began at 16 when he joined his school’s rock band as an elective and became the group’s lead singer. The band went on to perform at venues throughout Miami, giving Corey an early foundation in live performance and a lasting passion for music.
Later in life, Corey took a more educational approach to his own vocal development, studying vocal technique under two highly experienced instructors for three years. Through this training, he developed a strong understanding of the mechanics and techniques behind effective singing.
Corey also brings a background in psychology to his teaching, giving him a unique perspective on the individual needs and experiences of his students. He combines this understanding with his knowledge of vocal technique to create lessons that are focused, engaging, and enjoyable.
For Corey, teaching is about more than developing a student’s voice. He enjoys helping students build confidence, stay motivated, and experience the satisfaction of seeing their hard work pay off. His goal is to make every lesson both productive and fun while helping each student reach their potential.
