About Chris Shaw

Chris Shaw, a multi-instrumentalist musician, has been playing music for nearly 13 years and has performed every genre under the sun. While he primarily teaches guitar, voice, and keyboard, he also plays and teaches bass, drums, mandolin, brass, and accordion.

As a seasoned player and teacher from Gainesville, Florida, Chris has developed a curriculum that is simple to understand, and a breeze to teach. As a multi-instrumentalist, he focuses on teaching fundamental principles that can be applied to any instrument, as well as developing an efficient practice routine. He has worked as music director with the Gainesville Community Playhouse and the Ocala Civic Theater, and has extensive experience as a pit musician for musical theater and as an accompanist.
