Chadwick Horne is a talented multi-instrumentalist, composer, and performer with a passion for sharing the joy of music and unlocking the creative potential of his students. With over 20 years of experience, he has successfully taught guitar, bass, and voice to students of all ages.
Chadwick's teaching approach encompasses a blend of fun, education, instruction, active listening, dedicated practice, captivating performances, and strategic planning. His ultimate goal is to instill a sense of accomplishment and equip students with a solid foundation for continuous growth and improvement. Recognizing the value of disciplined practice, he guides his students to develop focused problem-solving skills that extend beyond music and into other aspects of life.
Having secured a scholarship, Chadwick pursued classical guitar performance under the tutelage of esteemed pedagogue Christopher Berg at the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with honors. He has also had the privilege of participating in master classes led by notable figures such as William Kanengizer, David Russell, Benjamin Verdery, and Adam Holzman, among others.
In addition to his expertise in classical music, Chadwick possesses a wealth of experience as a singer/songwriter and has been an active member of rock and jazz ensembles, captivating audiences nationwide. He has further demonstrated his compositional prowess by creating original music for documentaries, docu-series, and his ongoing musical project, The Vernon Castles.
