    About Celeste Bailly

Celeste is a Dallas-based teacher of violin and viola. She began her lifelong music journey at the age of 8 by taking piano lessons, and then began learning the violin at age 10. Since then, she has poured her heart into performing solo and in orchestras on the violin, and she recently fell in love with teaching and fostering a lifelong love of music in her students. She received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in music and Spanish from Northern Arizona University in 2022, during which she studied under violin professors Dr. Louise Scott, Shelley Rich, and Steven Moeckel. Now, she is focusing on continuing to perform and teach the violin while pursuing higher education in violin performance and pedagogy.

Celeste is also a lover of anything outdoors and can usually be found at a local mountain bike trail or running alongside North Texas’s beautiful lake scenery. When not exploring the great outdoors, though, she spends her time playing violin for the dedicated audience of her cat, Lydia.
