Anna was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, but she proudly calls the United States her home. The local elementary school she attended had a music program in which she was a member of the school choir. They performed regularly at school events and churches. Experiencing the joy of learning music in school early on, Anna started playing the piano at the age of 7 and continued to be a choir member in her hometown. She is grateful for the opportunity to have taken lessons from the same piano teacher throughout her youth, which led her to build a strong connection with both the teacher and the music. They still keep in touch to this day when she visits her hometown in Hungary. After classical piano became second nature to her, she decided to participate in an improvisation group at her music school. As a soloist and ensemble member, Anna gave multiple recitals and concerts every year. Born in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural world, she always had a passion for the arts and languages. She decided to fuse her interests by applying to colleges in the United States.
Anna graduated Cum Laude from Rollins College in May 2022 with a BA in Communication Studies and a concentration in public relations. With a passion for languages (Hungarian, English, and German), she also completed a minor in German. Considering she has been playing the piano since she was seven years old, she also earned a minor in Music (with a focus on classical piano). During her time at Rollins, she worked in the Rollins College Music Department, where she gained firsthand experience in the background running concerts and interacting with musicians. In 2022, she performed with the Bach Festival Society Choir at the Dr. Phillips Center in Steinmetz Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Anna also participated in numerous ensembles during her college years, such as the Rollins Choir, Instrumental Chamber Ensemble, and Acoustic Ensemble, and she also performed in solo recitals.
Anna has taught children and adults of all ages. She enjoys being the first person to introduce the mysteries of music to her students. Anna teaches students in person and online in Hungary and the US, and regularly helps prepare students for auditions. Her approach to teaching is to connect with each student on their own level, bring out the best in them, and find ways to get them excited about music. Through this process, her students become passionate about music. Anna's teaching philosophy centers around giving students the creative freedom to explore the connection between music and themselves.
Currently, Anna leverages her cultural background and musical experience with the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras by serving as an Operations Coordinator. In 2023, she accompanied outstanding members of FSYO on a 12-day tour of Italy.
