About Angela Yu
Enhancing musicianship and uncovering abilities is what Ms. Angela's teaching philosophy is all about. She has a MA in piano pedagogy form University of Hartford, and over 30 years of teaching experience in both private and group settings. Angela has students from Taiwan, Hartford, San Jose and Irvine California who have won many awards in competitions and are also at the top list of different assessment programs (Certificate of Merit CA, Royal Conservatory of Music, Music Guild). Angela also loves working with beginners and students of all ages and abilities discover their own unique love of music.
Angela's diverse experience, performance experiences and wide knowledge of repertoire has attracted students from age 4 to 85. Besides classical piano, she also loves jazz, improvisation and eurhythmics.
