Alynn Sobolik is a multi-instrumentalist from Kent, WA. He started taking guitar lessons at age twelve, but fell in love with the instrument at sixteen. He started a band in high school with a fellow guitar student and has continued to play ever since. Having his father as inspiration, Alynn taught himself how to play harmonica by referring to a personal lesson book and listening to Blues legends like Little Walter and James Cotton. He even owns a harmonica signed by Charlie Musselwhite! Alynn plays bass guitar in local Rock band Of the Heavy Sun and writes and records his own music as well.
It is important to love what you do and love what you learn. Teaching a proper balance of technique and theory along with particular songs a student wants to learn and play makes the learning experience more satisfying and more rewarding. Every musician has a voice, and Alynn hopes to find that voice in every student.
