    About Alphonso Jaime

A native of Miami, Florida, Alphonso has been involved with music since his birth. Specifically, at 4 years old, he saw Fantasia and was hooked on the many different pieces of music within the movie. At 7 years old, he began piano lessons, picked up a Clarinet at 11 and began to fall in love with the instrument. Ever since, he has pursued music as his main calling in life

Alphonso obtained his Bachelor's of Music degree with a minor in Sociology at Stetson University. There he learned from Shawn Copeland, Lynn Musco, and Jessica Hall Speak. He was also in Clarinet Choir and the Stetson University Symphonic band under the baton of Bobby Adams and Douglas Phillips.

Currently, Alphonso performs in the North Miami Pops Concert Band and volunteers at the New World Center where the famous New World Symphony fellowship program takes place annually.

In his spare time, Mr. Jaime likes to read, play some video games, cook, and enjoys kava bars.
