    About Adam Jones

Adam Daniel Jones (he/him/they/them) is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and sound designer currently based in Seattle, WA. Born and raised in Portland, OR, Jones began playing guitar, bass and drums at the age of eight. Having grown up in the musically-rich landscape of Portland in the early 2000's - 2010's, they developed salient skills in performing music through School of Rock, as well as through dozens of local acts in their youth. They graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Music in Electronic Production & Design; additionally, Adam completed an accelerated Master's Degree in Music Education from Eastern Washington in the Fall of 2023.

Adam deeply enjoys playing various instruments in a variety of different settings. They currently play drums in two actively gigging Seattle-area bands (Art Gecko and Vanilla Abstract), as well as spearheading a solo ambient / electronic music career under the moniker Daniel Sienna. Whether it is playing analog tape machines and ambient guitar sets for seated crowds or high-energy / danceable drum-centric shows at local Seattle venues, Adam believes strongly in David Byrne's concept of context-driven music and embracing universalities in the humanity of all music.

As an educator, Adam strongly drawn towards forming strong relationships with students and their families, as well as maintaining the spirit of fun and exploration in their instrumental studies. They believe that igniting a sense of fun and passion in students of all ages is the best way to make music and playing an instrument lifelong habits and sources of pride.

Outside of music, Adam enjoys video-editing / creating experimental live-visuals, cinema, playing / designing video games, and cooking delicious food at home.
