About Yetoria Thrasher

Yetoria Thrasher, born and raised in Decatur, Georgia. Yetoria embarked on her musical journey at the early age of 6 years old. She began her vocal and piano training in Elementary school. She attended Dekalb Elementary School of the Arts (DESA). At DESA, Yetoria was classically voice trained until she graduated in the 7th grade. Yetoria went on to be trained in classical and contemporary music in High School. She attended and graduated from Dekalb School of the arts.

Yetoria was a part of the school choir throughout her entire school career. She was a part of the women's show choir, and coed show choir in high school. She was also a member of the traveling show ensemble Youth ensemble of Atlanta from the age of 10. Yetoria has had the opportunity to perform in the state of Alabama. She has graced the stages of the Rialto and Seven Stages. She has performed at the Georgia Capital and Delta Airlines. She has won multiple first place performance awards with her show choir. Yetoria has attended Large Group Performance Evaluations and received very high scores.

Yetoria's favorite this about teaching is that she gets to share the reality that music can truly change and impact lives. Her goal for all of her students is to make a positive impact in their lives and for them to fully understand the gift of music and how to share it with others.
