Willie is an enthusiastic and dedicated music instructor specializing in electric and acoustic guitar, bass, ukulele, and music production with Ableton Live.

He began his musical journey at age 8 with Bossa Nova guitar lessons in his hometown of Seattle, Washington. The genre’s rich harmonies and intricate rhythms laid the foundation for his musical sensibilities and remain a core influence in his teaching approach.

At 13, he developed a deep passion for '90s rock, drawing inspiration from artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam. He spent countless hours learning their songs, studying chord progressions, solos, and arrangements—further expanding his musical vocabulary.

In high school, Willie discovered electronic music and was immediately drawn to the genre's creativity and innovation. Influenced by producers such as Flume, Tourist, and Disclosure, he began using Ableton Live to explore songwriting, sound design, and music production, solidifying a third key area of expertise.

Having toured nationally as a performing musician, Willie brings real-world experience into each lesson. He works with students of all ages and skill levels and offers instruction across a wide range of genres—from jazz to modern electronic music. His teaching philosophy centers on creativity, enjoyment, and student-led learning. He believes that the best results come when students are having fun, feeling inspired, and building confidence.
