    With over a decade of experience in drumming, piano, and a deep passion for music, Tyler brings a rich and diverse background to his role as a music teacher. Tyler's musical journey began with drumming, where he honed his rhythm and timing. This foundation in percussion seamlessly translated into his exploration of piano, which he has been studying and mastering in addition to drums.

    Tyler's musical education was significantly enriched through his time at Shoreline Community College, where he had the privilege of learning songwriting from Sue Ennis, the acclaimed songwriter behind Heart's Dog and Pony album. Her guidance has deeply influenced Tyler's approach to composition and musical expression. Additionally, Tyler had the opportunity to study under Dave Bristow, a renowned figure for his work programming sounds for the Yamaha DX7. His expertise in sound design has broadened Tyler's understanding of electronic music and its integration with traditional instruments.

    In addition to his work in music education, Tyler is involved in performing live visuals for events, adding a dynamic element to musical performances and events. This aspect of his work allows him to blend his musical skills with visual artistry, enhancing the overall experience for audiences.

    Tyler is also proficient in various digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Ableton, and he works with synthesizers like Serum. His experience extends to DJing, where he crafts engaging and energetic sets that resonate with diverse audiences.
