About Travis Nelson

Travis is a guitar player from the northeast that has been studying music for well over a decade. He grew up playing in the school jazz band as well as in rock bands with his friends and later went on to study music therapy and guitar performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Over the years Travis has played in many bands in a wide styles of music from funk to bluegrass to jazz.

He began teaching in 2016 and has developed a passion for passing on the gift of music. Travis hopes to help students develop a deep connection with the language of music and foster their self expression and creativity.
