With a heart full of passion and a deep love for music, Tomiyah brings both experience and enthusiasm to every lesson she teaches.
Miss Tomiyah’s musical journey began at the age of nine, when she first picked up an instrument and discovered the joy of creating sound. That moment sparked a lifelong passion that has only grown stronger with time. Since then, she has immersed herself in the study of music theory under the guidance of various teachers, and has had the opportunity to perform in a range of settings—from student recitals to community gatherings and uplifting church events. These experiences have helped shape her unique perspective on music as a powerful form of expression and connection.
As a teacher, Miss Tomiyah believes in the transformative power of music education. Her approach is nurturing, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s individual path. Whether working with young beginners or adult learners, she is committed to helping each student grow not only in technical skill but in confidence and creativity.
She often reminds her students, “Learning a new skill isn't easy, but your determination can overcome any doubt”—a reflection of her own belief in perseverance and personal growth. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where students feel empowered to explore, take risks, and discover their own musical voices.
