About Tanya Johnson

Ms. Tanya relocated to Littleton in June 2024 from Houston, TX, where she served as an elementary school librarian and taught part-time piano lessons at a local music school. Now, she works full-time as a librarian at a charter school in Highlands Ranch while continuing her passion for teaching piano.

With 20 years of private lesson experience, Ms. Tanya specializes in teaching children aged 6 to 14. She holds a degree in music education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a distinguished private university in Texas.

Beyond her professional life, Ms. Tanya enjoys hiking, running, reading, and playing in the Highlands Ranch Community Band. She finds great joy in helping her students grow as musicians, celebrating their successes along the way. She believes music is a lifelong gift, and she’s passionate about nurturing skills that will stay with her students for years to come.
