    About Suzanne Slade

As a lover of music, Suzanne Slade has been transported many times into multiple genres.

She started at an early age playing Piano, Violin, and Guitar through the Suzuki method. At age 8, she began singing lessons and began performing in NYC and Philadelphia in various professional musicals.

Suzanne has trained vocally with some of the top coaches in NY and LA such as Peisha McPhee, who trained both daughters, Katherine McPhee (American Idol) and Adrianna McPhee (American Idol Coach). She has also trained with Bob Garrett, vocal coach, Broadway actor and composer, as well as Eric Michael Gillet, Broadway actor and coach. She applies the Bel Canto singing technique in her lessons where students learn proper diaphragm breath work as well as correct vocal placement.

Suzanne also teaches guitar, piano, and songwriting. Learning from Guitar Method and Suzuki, Suzanne has worked with wonderful instructors to hone her craft and to be able to teach others. As an instructor, she has worked with children ages 6-16 in various schools in NYC and LA.

Suzanne loves to teach and in over 20 years, still loves watch others grow and embrace music. With a patient approach, Suzanne listens to every student to create a program that suits their needs and wants. Keeping creativity and imagination in every student’s mind, she believes that anyone can learn to sing or play an instrument.
