About Stephanie Plautz

Stephanie is a dedicated teacher of brass and piano. From a young age, Stephanie began to fall in love with music. Starting with brief percussion lessons, she quickly switched to Euphonium when starting in the middle school band and fell in love. 2 years after picking up euphonium, Stephanie started to play trombone and tuba alongside the euphonium.

After many years of performing and becoming involved with composition, Stephanie attended and graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Music. Since then, Stephanie has worked with the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps in 2023 and the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps in 2024. She also currently teaches tuba and euphonium in Wylie ISD and Celina ISD.

Throughout her teaching experience, Stephanie prioritizes proper technique and genuine love for music. With student lead interest in specific music, lessons can be tailored to best suit the student and to help the student enjoy the music they are learning.
