Sameer Mengale is a guitarist and musician who lives in the Fairfax, VA area. His passion for music began at the age of 6 while listening to The Eagles, Dire Straits, and Pink Floyd CD’s with his father.
Sameer began private guitar lessons at 6 and continued them until the age of 16. He enrolled in his middle school and high school’s guitar ensemble program for 6 years where he was exposed to classical styles of playing guitar and learned how to play in a group setting. During this time, he performed group and solo pieces at prestigious music halls such as Yale, Carnegie Hall, and Stanford. Sameer is pursuing Music Theory as part of his current education program at George Mason University and enjoys making arrangements of popular songs on guitar in his free time.
Sameer started teaching guitar and ukulele in his own studio out of his home in 2020. He has experience working with a diverse group of students including children and adults of all ages and backgrounds. He is proficient in a number of styles of guitar playing on acoustic, electric, and classical guitars. Whichever style of music a student is interested in, he is committed to tailoring each lesson so that they can reach their music goals. Sameer is excited to share his passion for music and guitar with all of his students.
